Fring is an application that allow you to chat! Mainly chat, but it also allows voice chat via VOIP.
It grants you to chat with many clients, many more than most other chat applications. It grants chat with Skype, MSN, ICQ, SIP, Gtalk, Twitter (chat only), Yahoo chat only, and AIM (chat only).
Fring for iPhone 3g will soon be released according to Fring.
The chat on Fring is basic. No emoticons, no profiles (buddy info), no away messenges, yada yada yada…. BUT it is really good for keeping you connected!
But the voice chat is something different. It is exceptionally awesome, to put it simple. There’s no support for iPod Touch owners, at least for the voice chat. You can chat with your buddies from Skype, MSN, ICQ, SIP, and Gtalk. You can add phone numbers add buddies, and *call* your friends.
In my opinion, Fring is a great app, but doesnt get the credit it deserves. I hope that if you see Fring, you try it.The source is http://fring.com/iphone.xml, under the Category Fring. Notice that v. 2 isn’t released as of yet.
